Nabagoye Water Update

The new 16,000 cubic meter water tank installed in July.
Abayudaya Executive Council Chairman, Israel Siriri, led a water tap inaguration ceremony.
The tap is for use by all the neighbors of the Abayudaya comunity in Nabagoye. The water source is the newly drilled Nabagoye borehole, located 400 feet from the water tap. After the inaguration, village health workers performed a song and dance about the importance of water and pledged to help maintain the water tap.

Danielle Meshorer, IJCR staff-person, was honored to inagurate the water tap.

Other community members expressed their gratitute and everyone clapped as jugs were filled with running water. |
